Kazzi B

Affectionately known as Kazzi B, Karen Barber is a proud daughter of Corby, Northamptonshire, and a familiar and much-loved voice in local radio.
Kazzi’s life has combined a successful career in healthcare with a lifelong passion for music and broadcasting. After many years working as a cytologist at Kettering General Hospital, she recently retired to enjoy a new chapter in her life.
Her love affair with radio began more than three decades ago. Kazzi B was one of the original founders of Corby Radio, helping establish the station from its earliest days and contributing to its strong community spirit. Over the years she worked both behind the scenes and behind the microphone, eventually becoming a presenter for around 12 years.
A true soul girl at heart, Kazzi B has an enormous love of music, particularly the classic sounds of the 1960s through to today’s soul. Her musical knowledge, warmth and natural ability to connect with listeners have become the hallmarks of her broadcasting style.
Now continuing her broadcasting journey, Kazzi B brings that passion for great music to ESR – Everything Soul Radio, where she can indulge her love of soul and share the songs, memories and sounds that have been part of her life for so many years.
